Stop by the library and see the three display cases filled with items celebrating MacArthur Road’s 75 anniversary. The display will be at the library during the months of April and November.

Friends of the Whitehall Township Public Library group invites the public to attend its regularly scheduled meetings 10 a.m. the second Friday of each month in the library’s community room. Next meeting will be April 14. Please join us!

The library’s Third Monday Open Mic & Jam will be held 6:30 p.m. April 17. Thank you to Rocking the Valley Online Radio for broadcasting live from the library! Entertainers interested in performing three songs or a 15-minute set are asked to sign up just before 6:30 p.m. Musicians, singers, poets, comedians, actors, writers, storytellers, etc., come show off your stuff, or just come and be part of the audience.

Third Tuesday Movie Night will be 6:15 p.m. April 18; the movie will be “Trolls.”

The library will hold a tree dedication 11 a.m. April 22. Join us on Earth Day for the dedication of our new Okame cherry tree, which was given to us last fall by the Whitehall Beautification and Garden Club. Light refreshments will be served.

Fourth Tuesday adult coloring group will meet 11 a.m. April 25. Anyone 18 years old and older is welcome to join us. The library has some supplies but invites you to bring your own as well.

New! We are adding a fourth Wednesday evening adult coloring club, 6-8 p.m. Join us April 26 for the first evening session.

The “What are you reading now?” group will meet 1 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of every month; the next meeting will be April 25. Patrons are invited to chat about whatever books they are reading at the moment - the ones you loved, the ones you hated and everything in between.

The library’s indoor yard sale will be 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m. April 28 and 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. April 29. Donations of clean, gently used items are greatly appreciated. Drop off donations during regular library hours. (No electronics or large items, like furniture, will be accepted.)

You can also support the library by shopping at this fundraising yard sale. There will be a $5 per bag sale noon-2 p.m. Aril 19, so bring your bag - any size!
