Paul “Jim” J. Reinsmith, 87, of Coplay, died April 9, 2017, at ManorCare Health Services, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Jean (Beil) Reinsmith for 60 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Paul E. and Mary C. (Dougherty) Reinsmith.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a pantry manager for 38 years at the Lehigh Country Club, Allentown. Before that, he worked at the Lehigh Valley Club in Allentown, 1963-78.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Coplay, where he sang in the choir.
He performed with Munopco and other local theaters for more than 50 years. He also sang with the Coplay Saengerbund chorus.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Paul H., at home; a sister, Dolores Oswald of Allentown; nieces; and nephews.
There will be a viewing 8:30-9:30 a.m. April 17 at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, followed by a 10 a.m. memorial Mass in the church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
