LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

Letter to The Editor

To The Editor:

First, let me say, it is a great honor and privilege to be endorsed by Lehigh County’s top law enforcement officer, District Attorney Jim Martin.

His confidence in my ability to perform the duties of magisterial district judge in District 31-3-1, which includes Lynn, Heidelberg, Lowhill, Washington, Weisenberg townships, and Slatington borough, is very important to me.

As a Lehigh County commissioner, I have had the opportunity to witness the hard work of the district attorney and his department.

Lehigh County is very fortunate to have Jim Martin as our district attorney.

I am running for magisterial district judge because I love this community.

In these times, we need a judge who shares our values and has the honesty, integrity and experience to make the right decisions.

Secondly, I am certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to perform the duties of magisterial district judge and can hit the ground running on day one.

As chairman of the Courts and Corrections Committee of the county board of commissioners, I have seen how vital this position is in the judicial system and want to improve and build an effective and efficient courtroom.

Finally, as a magisterial district judge, you have my assurance that whomever appears before me will be treated with the respect and fairness they deserve regardless of their social or economic background.

I am beholden only to the law itself and will only deliver true impartial justice that promotes public confidence in the judicial system.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as I can during this campaign and to gain your support to vote for me May 16.
