Kevin J. Wackley
Kevin J. Wackley, 67, of Danielsville, died March 30, 2017, at his home. He was the husband of Ruth Ann (Gerstenberg) Wackley for 43 years.
Born in Freeland, he was a son of the late Henry A. Sr. and Gladys M. (Kleckner) Wackley.
He was a 1961 graduate of Catasauqua High School.
He was a lance corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam era.
He was a welder and a security patrol leader for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation. He later was a police officer for the Borough of Catasauqua.
He attended St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Berlinsville.
He was a member of Greenleaf Lodge No. 561, F. & A.M., Allentown; a member and treasurer of Leathernecks Nation MC, Belleauwood Chapter, Lehigh Valley; a member of VFW Fullerton Post; and a member of the Andreas Sporting Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by six daughters, Jolene C. Gerstenberg of Slatington, Megan A. and her husband Christopher Blackwell of Danielsville, Specialist Alisha M., U.S. Army, of Fort Lewis, Wash., and Jaclyn N., Mariah L. and Jada M., all at home; two sons, Cpl. Ian J., U.S. Marine Corps, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, and Ethan J, at home; seven grandchildren, Alexis, Victoria, Caylyne, Vanessa, Brenden, Liam and Grayson; three sisters Jeanne and her husband Joseph Gazick of Dunellen, N.J., Elaine Chapman of Coplay and Bernadette and her husband William Hummelhantz of Pennsville; two brothers, Quentin and his wife Dolores of Hazle Township and Regis and his wife Linda of Whitehall; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence and Henry Jr.
