Jayne E. Gruver Smith, 72, of Bethlehem, died March 30, 2017, in Cedarbrook, Allentown. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Jay and Charlotte (McCabe) Gruver.

She was a 1962 graduate of Liberty High School.

She was a customer service representative for AARP Insurance Company for many years.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by two daughters, Christine and her husband Richard Palmisano of Bethlehem and Heather and her husband Russell Glanz of Fargo, North Dakota; a sister, Barbara and husband Arthur Mattes of Bethlehem; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Robert “Turk” Gruver.
