Douglas and Helen (Marlow) Kistler of Kempton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at C.J. Hummels Restaurant, Lenhartsville, Berks County.

The couple was married March 11, 1967, in Jacob’s Church, Lynn Township, by the Rev. David Pflieger.

Douglas retired from Hale Trailer Brake & Wheel, formerly Allentown Brake and Wheel, after 46 years as a welder.

Helen retired from Northwestern Lehigh School District as a cafeteria worker.

They have two sons: Wayne, husband of Sharon, and Bradley, husband of Nadine, all of Kutztown.

They have three grandsons: Brindan (Gaby), Dethon and Barron; and two great-grandchildren: Henry and Hailey.
