Mildred M. Fenstermacher, 102, formerly of Emmaus, died March 29, 2017, in The Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was the wife of the late Earl H. Fenstermacher to whom she was married 57 years. Born in New Tripoli, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Lillie M. (Bachman) Hamm.

She was a graduate of the former Kutztown State Teachers College and taught for over 30 years as an elementary school teacher in the East Penn School District, retiring in 1977.

She was an active member of St. John’s U.C.C., Emmaus, where she taught Sunday School.

She is survived by sons, Terrence E. and his wife Kathy, of Lancaster and Glenn G. and his wife Alisa, of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at a future date in St. Peter’s Union Cemetery, New Tripoli. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
