Mark E. Hamscher, 57, of Emmaus, died peacefully March 28, 2017, in his home. He was the husband of Carolyn C. M. (Madonna) Hamscher. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Gerald “Russ” and Sylvia (Molotzak) Hamscher.
He was a hardworking man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, football and being with his family. He was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan and loved watching games on Sundays.
He worked 39 years at Knoll, Inc.
He is survived by his wife; children, Daniel E., of Emmaus, Amy M. and her husband Jacob Smerekar, of Easton and Janelle R., of Emmaus; granddaughters, Athena Hamscher and Veona Gilbreath; brothers, Bruce and Joel; sister, Jennifer; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Contributions may be made to Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus, 18049 to benefit his granddaughter’s college education.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. April 8 in the Schantz Funeral Home with visitation noon to 1 p.m. April 8 in the funeral home. A reception will follow.
