There will be early dismissal at noon April 13. There will be only morning kindergarten attending that day.

There will be no school April 14 through April 17.

Kindergarten registration for children in the district who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 will take place April 19 and 20 at Northwestern Elementary.

Parents and guardians are asked to visit the district website at nwlehighsd.org using Sign Up Genius to schedule an appointment for your child.

Bring the following to registration: original state birth certificate with official raised seal; two proofs of residency, proof of immunization, custody information, if applicable, and the child.

NORTHWESTERN ELEMENTARY

The third-marking period award assembly will be 9:30 a.m. April 10 for morning kindergarten, and first and second grades.

At 2 p.m. afternoon kindergarten, third, fourth and fifth grade will receive their awards.

There will be a Partners In Education meeting 6:45 p.m. April 6 in the cafeteria. New board members will be voted on.

Parents are invited to attend and show their support.

The NWE Music Department is looking for donations of used band instruments.

Any donation will become the property of the school district.

WEISENBERG ELEMENTARY

There will be a PTO meeting 9:15 a.m. April 7 in Room 145.

On April 11 there will be a Title 1 Family Literacy Night at 6:30 p.m. Families are invited to stop by for some fun and learning.

Parents will learn easy and practical strategies to promote language and vocabulary development.
