Carol A. Schmersahl, 59, of Coopersburg, died March 24, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Andrew J. Schmersahl. They were married 37 years, 2 months and 12 days. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Lucille (Raudenbush) and the late Joseph B. Morgan.
She was a 1975 graduate of Liberty High School and Millersville State College, Class of 1979.
She was an active member of Zionsville Bible Fellowship Church, where she was a beloved nursery teacher, Awana leader and Bible Club leader.
She was a member of the Extreme Knitters Club, an Awana leader at Calvary Baptist Church, Bethlehem and a Girl Scout counselor at Camp Mosey Wood.
She enjoyed reading the Bible, listening to the music and ministry of Damaris Carbaugh, going to the beach and holding babies.
She is survived by her husband; mother; sons, Andrew M. and his wife, Kelly, of Emmaus, Michael M. and his wife, Jackie, of Philadelphia and John M., of Coopersburg; brothers, David Morgan and his wife, Lynne and Joseph Morgan and his wife, Lee Ann; nieces, nephews, cousins and granddaughter.
