Arlene L. (Berger) Gildner, 82, of Macungie, died peacefully Feb. 25, 2017. She was the wife of the late Paul Gildner who died in 2015. They were married 50 years. She was the daughter of Wilbert and Alma Berger, but raised by Joseph and Ethel Grube.

She is survived by sons, Donald (Donna) Carl, Glenn (Diane) Carl; daughters, Susan Lowery (Bob), Donna (George) Oberto, Jane (Roger) Kleinfelter; son-in-law Hector Lopez; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wilber (Sonny) Berger, Leroy Berger, Earl (Karen) Grube, Richard (Carol) Grube; sisters, Delores (Eugene) Kresge, Joyce (Donald) Wunderler, Mildred (Richard) Slutter, Carolyn Rohn; sister-in-law Marlene Marks. She was predeceased by daughter, Sharon Lopez; sisters, Nancy Getz, Edith Fogel, RuthAnn Getz; brothers, Warren and Eugene Grube.
