Olive V. Saras, 92, of Northampton, died March 23, 2017. She was the wife of the late Richard Raymond Saras.

Born in Linneus, Maine, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Ula (Gartner) Cole.

She retired from the Catasauqua School District in 1988.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane Reyda; a son, David and his wife Brenda; a daughter, Sandy and her spouse Wendy Novak; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Avis Hermany.
