John Kasick, 88, formerly of Allentown, died peacefully March 28, 2017, in Whitehall Manor.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Simon and Nellie (Yurchak) Kasick.
A 1946 graduate of Allentown High School, he honorably served with the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict attaining the rank of corporal.
After attending business college, he worked at Mack World Headquarters more than 30 years until retiring.
He was a 50-year member of both Jordan-Martin Lodge 673 F&AM and Allen-Beauceant Commandery No. 20 Knights Templar, and Rajah Shrine.
His survivors include nieces, nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by sisters Anna Baron and Mary Bonstingl and brothers Samuel and Michael Kasick.
