Arabella C. Minnich

Arabella C. Minnich, 90, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Walnutport, died March 24, 2017, at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was the wife of the late Rollin E. Minnich Jr.

Born in Kreidersville, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Minnie (Anthony) Fogelman.

She was a seamstress for eight years at Scotty’s Fashions, Walnutport, until she retired. She was a waitress at the former Indian Trail Park Restaurant, Pennsville, for many years. She and her late husband were the owners/ operators of the former Edgemont Park skating and recreation center, Walnutport, from 1946 to 1952.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station, where she taught Sunday school, was a past president of the women’s fellowship and was a member of the Keenagers group for many years.

She was a member and a past worthy matron of the Rose Croix Chapter 235, Order of the Eastern Star. She and her late husband were members of the National Camping Travelers and the Rajah Shrine campers.

She is survived by three sons, Terry E. and his wife Karen of Slatington, Ty E. and his companion Carol Amato of Brick, N.J., and James E. and his wife Marilyn of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Althea Bell of Coplay; eight grandchildren, Michelle, Barbie, Tiffany, Angie, Todd, Tavia, Zach and Andy; and 11 great-grandchildren.
