Loraine M. (Gross) Weiss, 69, of Bethlehem, died March 21, 2017, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the wife of George M. Weiss Jr. for 43 years.

Born in Allentown and raised in Germansville, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Mary (Wanamaker) Gross.

She was a graduate of Northwestern Lehigh HS, New Tripoli.

She worked for Atria Assisted Living of Bethlehem, and formerly at Bell Telephone and for the former Acme Markets.

She was a member of St. Matthew’s United Church of Christ, Kunkletown, where she attended Bible studies. She was a former member of East Hills Moravian Church, Bethlehem, where she sang in the choir and helped in the church nursery.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Candace of Bethlehem; two sons, Brandon and Jason of Bethlehem; a brother, Joel and his wife Charlotte Gross of Bethlehem; a brother, Dean and his wife Lisa Gross of New Tripoli; nieces; nephews; a great-niece; cousins; aunts; and uncles.
