The Appalachian Mountain Club will host a free public Earth Day 2017 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 22 at Illick’s Mill, 100 Illick’s Mill Road.
There will be music, a wildlife demonstration, L.L. Bean outdoor discovery school, a showing of the movie “Chasing Ice”, a Monocacy Creek/Park cleanup, a martial arts/tai chi presentation, a native plant walk, wood sculpturing, Enviro-Scape show, a stream bank restoration creek walk and more.
