Two doctors join Good Shepherd

Two doctors have joined the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network.

Debra A. Lehr, OD, FAAO, is an optometrist who specializes in treating patients with functional and-or developmental vision disorders, brain injury, concussion and other acquired brain injuries, such as stroke.

She is seeing patients as part of the Vision Therapy Program at Good Shepherd’s Health & Technology Center, 850 S. Fifth St., Allentown.

Lehr received a bachelor’s in behavioral and neural biology from Lehigh University, a bachelor’s in visual science from Salus University, and a doctorate in optometry from Salus University, where she received honors for clinical excellence in several specialties.

Prior to Good Shepherd, Lehr worked at Wills Eye Hospital at the Jefferson Comprehensive Concussion Center, Philadelphia, where she focused on concussion rehabilitation as it relates to vision. She also worked at Geisinger Health System, Wilkes-Barre, and several private optometry practices.

Lehr is a member of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association International, American Academy of Optometry, and College of Optometrists in Vision Development.

Liza Green, MD, MS, is a pediatric physical medicine and rehabilitation who specializes in the care of children with functional impairment associated with pediatric onset disability, trauma or significant illness.

She is seeing patients at Good Shepherd’s Health & Technology Center, 850 S. Fifth St., Allentown.

Green completed her fellowship and residency at the University of Michigan Health System, Ann Arbor, where she received a medical degree and a master’s in Clinical Research Design and Statistical Analysis.

Prior to Good Shepherd, Green was Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and director, Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit at the University of Michigan.

Green is a member of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
