Allen A. and Jean M. (Sell) Oswald, of Alburtis, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary March 23.

The couple was married March 23, 1957, by the late Rev. Royce Schaeffer at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Emmaus.

On Feb. 25, their family surprised them with a diamond anniversary dinner at the 1760 Pub N Grill, Trexlertown. Additionally, there was a surprise vow renewal performed by Ron DeIaco.

The couple has three children: sons Allen II, and his wife, Catherine, of Friendsville, Susquehanna County; Matthew, and his wife, Abigail, of Alburtis, and a daughter, Ellen, and her husband, Sterling Quier, of Ocean View, Hawaii.

The couple has two grandsons, two step-grandsons, one granddaughter, two great-grandsons and three step-great-granddaughters.
