Shirley R. Ritter, 64, of Orefield, died March 23, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She and her husband Kenneth M. Ritter were married 42 years on March 15.

Born June 12, 1952, in Camp Atterbury, Ind., she was the daughter of Eleanor (Teada) Dickinson of Allentown and the late Whitford R. Dickinson.

She was a sales representative for Avon for the last 10 years.

Before that, she worked for Carbon Lehigh IU 21, Schnecksville, was a massage therapist and worked in the travel industry.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall.

Forever remembered for her joyful and outgoing personality, she showed an abundance of love and care for her family, friends and in everything she did.

In addition to her loving husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Brian A. Ritter of Houston, Texas; daughter Kristin M. Haupt and her husband, Ryan, of Breinigsville; granddaughters Madelyn and Evelyn; and brother John Dickinson and his wife, Allie, of Breinigsville.
