Marilyn Mae Yankovich, 86, formerly of Schnecksville, died March 21, 2017, in Country Meadows, Allentown, where she resided.
She and her husband Daniel W. Yankovich Sr. celebrated their 66th anniversary March 3.
Born June 12, 1930, in Bangor, Northampton County, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Evelyn (Hunt) Ackerman.
She was a secretary for several years before dedicating herself to being a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ (Fullerton), Whitehall, and a longtime volunteer with the Ladies Auxiliary of Community Fire Co. No. 1, Schnecksville.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Daniel W. Jr. and wife, Veronica, of Richboro, Denise A. Ridenour and husband, Alan, of McGaheysville, Va.; siblings Joan Steuber of Allentown, Paul “Bill” Ackerman and wife, Barbara, of Reading, Mary Ellen Einfalt and husband, Dennis, of Stockertown; grandchildren Mark and David Yankovich, Taylor (Kelly) Liberto, Ashlyn Kelly; great-grandson Carter Yankovich; step-grandchildren Lauren Ridenour Koch and Ross Ridenour; and great-grandchildren Caroline and Charles Koch.
