Franklin H. Roth, 70, of Slatington, died March 19, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He was the husband of the late Lenore R. (Adams) Roth.
Born April 6, 1946, in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Maurice and Edith (Kemp) Roth.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War era.
A lab technician for American Nickeloid Co., Walnutport, for 40 years before retiring in 2010, he also formerly served the Boroughs of Slatington and Walnutport as a police officer.
He was a past commander of the Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Slatington.
His survivors include a son Michael D. Roth and his wife, Nicole, of Aurora, Ohio; sister, Holly Howard and her husband, George, of Michigan; and grandchildren Lauren and Benjamin Roth.
