Dorothy A. Rabert, 83, formerly of Cedar View Apartments, in South Whitehall, died March 26, 2017, in At Home At Parkland, Health Care Services, Schnecksville.
Born Oct. 15, 1933, in Schnecksville, she was the daughter of the late Herman H. and Arlene C. (Hoffman) Rabert.
She was the laundry department manager of Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township for 26 years before retiring in 1989.
A member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, she formerly sang with the choir for 20 years and was a member of the quilting group.
She was a member of Schnecksville Grange 1684, Pomona Grange serving as Pomona, and Neffs Fire Company Auxiliary formerly serving as treasurer.
Her survivors include a sister Ruth K. Ensley of Allentown; nephew Ricky E. Ensley of Schnecksville; niece Suzanne L. Toto of Macungie; four great-nieces; two great-nephews; and three great-great-nieces.
