Stephen Andrew Masnica, 59, of Lower Macungie Township, died March 16, 2017, in Noord, Aruba. He was the husband of Margaret “Peggy” (Roggenkamp) Masnica.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Stephen Andrew and Agnes B. (Valach) Masnica.

He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from Drexel University.

He started as an engineer with AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1980. At the time of his death, he was an engineering manager with Intel Corporation.

He was a 3rd Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, Council #12886 at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, Emmaus, where he was a member.

He is survived by his wife; children, Emily M. and her husband Michael J. Maziarz and Karen M., all of New York City. He was predeceased by a sister Dolores Halgas.
