Representatives of Fisher Clinical Services, 7554 Schantz Road, Upper Macungie Township, presented a check for $2,500 to the Friends of the Parkland Community Library Feb. 2 at the library in South Whitehall Township.
Every year, Fisher Clinical Services, a subsidiary of Thermo Fisher Scientific, supports the community with a donation to an organization that promotes education.
This year, they chose Parkland Community Library.
Fisher Clinical Services also values community and every employee is given the chance to donate a work day to volunteer for a worthy cause.
The Friends of the Parkland Community Library is a recipient of this program as a group of Fisher employees volunteer each summer at the library’s used book sale.
