The annual spring basket social at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, 4412 W. Mountain View Drive, Berlinsville, will be held 9 a.m.-6 p.m. March 25 and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 26 in the social hall. Baskets have been designed to appeal to all ages, from infants and children to adults and senior citizens.

There will be many gift cards and spring and summer decorative items.

To round out this social, there will be a bake sale with delicious homemade goodies; the kitchen will be open as well.

The Bertsch-Hokendauqua-Catasauqua Watershed Association (BHCWA) is sponsoring a free wildlife program April 7 at Blue Mountain Fish & Game Association, 4190 Wood Drive, Walnutport. The program is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the club building, but there also is a trout stocking at the club’s lake 5 p.m. In between the trout stocking and the wildlife program, attendees can purchase hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages in the club house.

Bring the whole family to see the trout stocking, have dinner and see this great program, presented by Pocono Wildlife and Rehab Center. See live critters up close and personal.

April 8 is the opening of trails, weather permitting, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lehigh Township Rails to Trails will have a display at Cove Road Trailhead along the Delaware and Lehigh Trail.

Stop by and pick up a trail map, a bottle of water or a snack bar. Members will be happy to discuss their past and present projects with you.

You also can take a chance to win a $25 gift card for Redner’s. The drawing will be held in early June.
