Imogene Marie Dietrich
Imogene Marie Dietrich, the daughter of the late Earl and Marie (Bausch) Fritzinger unexpectedly entered the kingdom of heaven on March 16, 2017, at age 59.
A loyal wife, amazing mother, loving grandmother, dedicated worker, and true friend, she always put everyone else first and was so thoughtful, caring, and generous in everything she did.
She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
She married her high school sweetheart, William, on July 14, 1973.
She attended Allentown Business School and graduated with her Associate degree in Business in 1977.
She had two children, Steven and Stacey, a grandson, Jeffery, and a step-grandson, Kevin Scanlon Jr., who, along with her husband, Bill, were the light of her life.
Throughout her life, she enjoyed helping Bill on the farm and also loved cooking plentiful holiday dinners for their large extended family.
In addition, she spent 40 years as a devoted worker at Air Products.
During her time there, she also attended Muhlenberg College and obtained her certificate in business.
She was a member of Jerusalem Red (Lutheran) Church, Kempton.
In addition to her love for people, she loved rescuing cats, and will be greatly missed by her furry household friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Steven, wife Jess, and Stacey Scanlon, husband Kevin; grandchildren Jeffery and Baby Scanlon, due in two weeks; step-grandchild Kevin Scanlon Jr.; siblings June Leiby (late husband, Ronald), Violet Henninger (late husband, Daniel), Barry Fritzinger and Dorothy Boger, husband Kenneth, and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. March 23 at Jerusalem (Red) Lutheran Church, 15 Red Church Road, Kempton, with the Rev. Robert Billig officiating.
Interment will be at the church cemetery.
