St. Mary’s Parish, 122 Union St., will be having a basket social in the parish hall 6-9 p.m. March 24; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. March 25; and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 26. There will be more than 200 baskets, plus gift cards and specials. You do not have to be present to win.

The kitchen will be open, and baked goods will be available.

From 8 a.m. to noon March 26, Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., will be holding its homemade breakfast buffet. It’s an all-you-can-eat breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage links, SOS, home fries. French toast, juice, coffee and tea.

Catasauqua Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be having a half-price sale March 27 through April 1. Everything in the store is half price unless marked otherwise.

Donations of good, used, clean clothing are gratefully accepting during store operating hours, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday. Proceeds from the shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
