Ruth A. Oswald, 103, of Allentown, died March 5, 2017. She was the wife of the late John “Randy” Randolph Oswald.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Ortt) Steiger.

She worked for the former Hess’s Department Store, Allentown.

She was a member of Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua for many years.

She volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital, formerly Allentown General Hospital.

She is survived by a daughter, Jane Larson and her husband Roger; a son, David Oswald and his wife Nora; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
