John Kutzer Jr., 86, of Coplay, died March 3, 2017, at his residence. He was the husband of Nancy (Kemmerer) Kutzer for 36 years.

Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late John Kutzer Sr. and Alma (Fritz) Glendenmyer.

He worked in the tool crib for Mack Trucks until he retired.

He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, Catasauqua, where he sounded the shofar during services.

He was a member of Lehigh Valley Harmonica Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Linda and her husband Donald Smith; a son, Kurt and his companion Linnie Sleptz; three stepchildren, Wendi E. Iley, Wayne Snyder Jr. and his wife Janine and Lori and her husband David Seip; a sister, Colleen Morris; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; six stepgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of life 11 a.m. March 25 at the church, 429 Walnut St., Catasauqua.
