·Allentown Rescue Mission has an immediate need for volunteers to make the annual gala event happen. If you love planning events, help is needed with silent and live auctions, setup and decorations, greeting and registration and centerpiece committees. Gala committee meetings are being held weekly. The date of the event is April 8 at DeSales University.

·Lehigh Valley Score, LCCC, Schnecksville is seeking experienced business people to provide free business counseling and advice in all areas of business management (i.e., business plans, managing cash flow, marketing, etc.) Volunteer as a face-to-face counselor, present workshops, online counselor or perform administration functions. Training will be provided.

·Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County, Allentown needs volunteers, age 18 and older, to do grocery shopping for homebound seniors and adults with disabilities in an area of Lehigh County which works best for you. Flexible scheduling based on client’s needs (weekly, biweekly, or monthly). A 40-minute orientation is required. Call or email to schedule a one-on-one that fits your schedule.

·Northeast Ministry, Bethlehem, needs volunteers to assist with the facilitation of its older youth program. This program meets 5:30-7 p.m. one evening per month, generally on a Thursday. The program offers a positive, supervised venue for youth in grades nine to 12 to socialize, learn new skills (resume writing, how to apply for college and much more). Duties include setup, cleanup, interact with youth and serve as positive role models.
