Lee L. Berry

Lee L. Berry, 85, of Alburtis, died March 8, 2017, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown Campus. He was the husband of Janet (Moatz) Berry with whom he celebrated 63 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Clarence and Evelyn (Snyder) Berry.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1949.

He worked in the construction field all his life, working for Whitehall Homes and Harold Blacker Construction and retired from the former Day-Timers as a maintenance supervisor in 1996. He worked part-time at Bell Hardware, Trexlertown after his retirement.

He loved all sports and was fortunate to have had two hole in ones, enjoyed traveling and spend time at Mill Race in Benton.

He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Alburtis, where he served on the building committee.

He is survived by his wife; son, Scott M. and his wife Sandra K., of Coopersburg; daughter, Wendy L. and her husband Scott J. Crossley, of Alburtis; grandchildren, Sarah, Meghan, Adam, Andrew and Leigh Ann; great-grandchildren, Collin, Rylan, Liam, Ella; beloved corgi Hannah. He was predeceased by a sister, Jacquelyn Dickson.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
