Hertha E. Moyer, 89, of Emmaus, died March 7, 2017, in her home. She was the wife of the late Warren E. Moyer, who died Oct. 10, 1998. Born in Hambach, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Andreas and Margareta (Michel) Arnold.
She worked as an assembler for Rodale Manufacturing, later becoming Square D in Emmaus for 28 years, retiring in 1985. She worked part-time at Dan Schantz and Hausman’s Orchard after Rodale moved.
She was a member of the Emmaus VFW Post #7088 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was an avid gardener of vegetables and flowers. She enjoyed the great outdoors.
She is survived by children, Charlotte E. and her husband William Vargo, of Emmaus, Kathleen M. Stanley, of Lexington, Ky. and Barbara and her husband John Fisher, of Zionsville; sister, Maria Weismueller; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. March 16 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. Viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. March 16 at the funeral home.
