Catherine A. (Shimshy) Lorenz Mink, 92, died Feb. 22, 2017, at her home in Whitehall. She was the wife of the late John K. Lorenz and the late Edward A. Mink.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Haraida) Shimshy.

She was a member of St. John Fisher Church, formerly St. Lawrence Church, North Catasauqua.

She is survived by a son, Edward A.; three daughters, Susan and her husband Raymond Raysley, Ann Lorenz and Jean and her husband Lou Wrabel; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Theodor Shimshy; a sister, Dorothy Shimshy; and an infant daughter, Catherine.
