The Western Salisbury Elementary PTA is hosting its fourth annual purse bingo March 12. This will be held at Salisbury Middle School with doors opening noon and bingo starting 1 p.m. Purse brands include Coach, Michael Kors, Thirty-One and more as prizes. WSE will invite parents and guardians to have lunch with their second graders March 7. Lunch begins promptly 11:20 a.m. Will you be bringing in your student’s favorite lunch or eating in the cafeteria?
March 10 is a teacher professional development day and all township schools will be closed. March 14 to 17 will be 1 p.m. dismissals for both Harry S Truman Elementary School and WSE for teachers to hold parent-teacher conferences.
The high school is holding a college information night 6:30 p.m. March 14. This is a great resource for families new to the college experience. I found this night to be very beneficial.
On March 6 there is an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. at the administration building and a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. March 15.
Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church will hold its community breakfast March 11. Doors are open 8 to 11 a.m. Donations are accepted.
The Devonshire drop-off will open for the season March 18. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
