Joseph J. Iandolo, 80, of Macungie, died Feb. 14, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Mary E. (Getz) Iandolo. They were married 50 years. Born in South Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Jeremiah C. and Adelina (DeBenedictus) Iandolo.
He was a graduate of West Catholic High School and attended the University of Pennsylvania and Villanova University.
He worked in the maintenance department in the parts room for Johnson and Johnson/McNeil for 38 years, retiring in 2003.
He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
He was a member of Emmaus Lodge #792 F&AM, Lehigh Valley Day Lodge #813 F&AM, and LuLu Temple, Plymouth Meeting.
He was a life member of Bucks County Fish and Game, where he wrote the bulletin for 15 years, life member of Harvey Cedars Fishing Club, where he wrote the newsletter for over 10 years, was a Cub Scout, Boy Scout and Eagle Scout, taught hunter education and was a safety instructor and served as a range officer for the State Game Lands. He was an avid hunter for over 30 years and an avid gardener, volunteering at Wild Cherry Knoll.
He is survived by his wife and dogs, Rusty and Samantha.
