Foster C. “Fuzzy” Renninger, 91, of Wescosville, formerly of Schnecksville, died Feb. 13, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in South Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Raymond R. and Mae A. (Adams) Renninger.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II with a rank of Painter Second Class.
He was employed as an automotive painter at Supreme Auto Body in South Whitehall Township and the former Union Chrysler/Plymouth Garage in Allentown for a combined total of 50 years, retiring in 1990.
He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Allentown. A Melvin Jones Fellow recipient, he was a member of the Upper Lehigh Lions Club, Schnecksville, serving as president in 1982-1983.
He is survived by his companion, Vivian L. (Ruddick) Edinger, of Wescosville; son, Scott R. and his wife, Melody, of Macungie; sister, Doris J. Bower, of Allentown; grandchildren, Stephanie and Taylor.
Memorial contributions may be made to Salem United Methodist Church and/or the Upper Lehigh Lions Club Fund of H.O.P.E., both in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box #196, Schnecksville, 18078-0196.
