Ruth V. Hall, 97, of Nazareth and formerly of Northampton, died Feb. 22, 2017, at Gracedale, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late George C. Hall.

Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late Earle and Elsie (Vaughn) Clause.

She was a longtime member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She was a past member of Northampton Senior Ladies Group and Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a son, George E. and his wife Connie of Elkton, Md.; a daughter, Jacqueline R. Reis of Lansford; a sister, May Schaedel of Bethlehem; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kimberly; and a brother, Marvin.
