Lynda L. Marks

Lynda L. Marks, 55, of Whitehall, died peacefully Feb. 20, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown, surrounded by her loving and dedicated family and friends.

She was the wife of Anthony S. “Tony” Marks for more than 33 years.

Born in Sunbury, she was a daughter of June (Keller) Tomb of Whitehall, and the late Forrest “Ray” Tomb.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

A 1979 graduate of Whitehall High School, Lehigh Carbon Community College and Cedar Crest College with high honors, she was a senior accountant for FL Smidth, formerly Fuller Co.

Earlier in life she worked as a bookkeeper at Charter Apparel, Allentown, and was the manager of McDonald’s in the Lehigh Valley Mall, Whitehall.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter Christina Marks and her husband, Tawan, of Texas, and their son Mekhi; sister Karen Kehler and husband, Tadd, of Bethlehem; nieces, nephews and their extended family.

She was predeceased by sister Monica Tomb in 1977.

Her services will be 11 a.m. March 4 in St. John’s UCC, 6th and Grape streets, Fullerton, Whitehall, with the Rev. Dr. Becky J. Beckwith officiating.

Visitation will begin 9:30 a.m. in the church parlor. Interment will be private.
