Lynda L. Marks, 55, of Whitehall, died Feb. 20, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. She was the wife of Anthony “Tony” S. Marks for more than 33 years.
Born in Sunbury, she was a daughter of June (Keller) Tomb of Whitehall and of the late Forrest “Ray” Tomb.
She was a 1979 graduate of Whitehall High School. She was a graduate of Lehigh Carbon Community College and Cedar Crest College with high honors.
She was a senior accountant for FL Smidth, formerly Fuller Company. She earlier was a bookkeeper at Charter Apparell, Allentown, and a manager at McDonald’s, Lehigh Valley Mall.
She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Christina Marks and her husband Tawan of Texas and their son Mehki; a sister, Karen Kehler and her husband Todd of Bethlehem; nieces; nephews; and extended families.
She was predeceased by a sister, Monica Tomb.
There will be a visitation time beginning 9:30 a.m. in the church parlor, followed by a service 11 a.m., both March 4 at the church, 575 Grape St., Fullerton.
Contributions may be made to a scholarship fund for her grandson, with checks made payable to Anthony S. Marks, 444 Pershing Blvd., Whitehall, 18052; or to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265.
