Helen A. Peters, 87, of Orefield, died Feb. 27, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Lawrence W. Peters Sr.

Born April 28, 1929, in Barnesville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Flail) Tomko.

Her survivors include children Joseph T. Peters of Schnecksville, Susan M. O’Brien of Clearwater, Fla., Lois B. Kern-Cerando of Orefield, Lawrence Jr. and his wife, Susan, of Whitehall, Donald F. Peters and his wife, Tami, of Orefield, Barbara A. Kroninger of Trexlertown, John M. Peters of Dover; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Her funeral services will be 2 p.m. March 3 in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Kris P. Snyder-Samuelson officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 12:30-2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
