St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be having its soup and bread meal during Lent in Fox Hall 6 p.m. March 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5. Afterward, there will be a worship service 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

St. John’s also will host a basket social 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 12.
