Wouldn’t it be nice if there’d be peace throughout the entire land?

Wouldn’t it be nice if you meet someone, you always extend your hand?

It wouldn’t matter who they are; what color, race or creed,

It’s simply another person, and perhaps ‘one in need.’

Wouldn’t it be nice if all the protests soon came to an end?

Wouldn’t it be nice if all those folks found love, instead, to send?

Wouldn’t it be nice if we didn’t hear those words that are so ‘foul’?

One would think they dig them up from deep inside the ‘bowel.’

I see no cause for all of the bad temperament they choose.

We all have choices in this world, we either win or lose!

If you chose the winning side, kudos to all that won;

If you chose the losing side, just suck it up and move on.

You can’t always be a winner, sometimes you have to lose

But don’t you fret - you always have another chance to choose.

So, meantime, move along with life, it has its ups and down,

But time keeps marching on, for sure, so dump that ugly frown.

There’s lots of happiness around to share with one another;

So make new friends and ‘sisters’ and don’t forget the ‘brothers.’

Remember, we are all God’s children, we were conceived in the same way.

So throw away your hate; enjoy your life,

and have a wonderful day.
