Faith Z. Sweitzer, 84, of New Tripoli, died on Feb. 18, 2017.

She and her husband, the late Richard E. Sweitzer, enjoyed a 55-year marriage before his death in 2008.

Born Nov. 2, 1932, in Panama City, Fla., she was a graduate of Bay County High School, Panama City.

She then worked as a secretary in the city hall of Port St. Joe, Fla.

She retired from Thrift Drug, Inc. after a 21-year career in 1995.

During retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Peter’s UCC Church, Lynnville.

Her survivors include sons Richard E. Jr. and wife, Kris, Daniel A. and wife, Donna; sister Patricia Delair of Prattville, Ala.; and grandchildren Kyle, Justin and Sara Sweitzer.

Services will be announced at a later date.
