Stephen “Steve” C. Chase, 49, of Coplay, died Feb. 13, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Richard and Georgianne (Bobal) Chase of Egypt.

He graduated from Whitehall High School and Temple University.

He was an electrical engineer working on automation of plant facilities for Lafarge Holcim Cement Company. Prior to that, he worked for Keystone Cement and PPL.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Stephen C. Jr.; a sister, Rebecca Chase; and other family and friends.
