Robert D. “Fats” Deily, 71, of Whitehall, died Jan. 15, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. He was the husband of Gail E. (Nuss) Deily for 49 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harold and Viola (Remer) Deily.

He worked as a custodian for Allentown School District for 10 years and later was the co-owner of Mobile Container Services of South Central New York with his wife.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Robert M. and his wife Sheri of Piedmont, Okla.; a daughter, Jenifer Gomez of Coplay; a stepdaughter, Debbie Young of Allentown; nephews, Cory and John Deily; and 11 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald; and grandson, Axavier.
