Fourth-grade Sheckler Elementary School students will be going to see a show at Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown Feb. 24.

The Sheckler science fair will be held 6-8 p.m. March 1 in the school gym. Families and friends are invited to come and see all the projects and experiments created by students. Projects for the fair may be dropped off in the school cafeteria 3:30-5 p.m. Feb. 27 and 7:30-9 a.m. Feb. 28. All projects must be in no later than 9 a.m. Feb. 28.

What a great way to enjoy the evening with the family, viewing creativity at its best.

TV Turnoff Week ends Feb. 25. All signed slips for students who participated in this event are due to your child’s teacher by Feb. 27.

Remember, signed calendars for students participating in the readathon for the month of February must be turned in to your child’s teacher by March 3. I hope everyone has been reading to help Sheckler reach its schoolwide goal of 75,000 miles traveled (minutes read).
