Valentine’s Day may be a pleasant memory, but there is still time to arrange a blind date - Blind Date with a Book, that is. The library’s staff has carefully selected books of different genres in all age groups. The books are wrapped, but don’t worry - there is a brief description of each book on its cover as a clue.

Take a chance! The program ends Feb. 28.

The Cetronia Ambulance Corps will be doing a hands-only CPR presentation at the library. The event will be held 1-3 p.m. April 1.

Sign up at the desk or call the library.

Our spring bake and book sale extravaganza is approaching! Join us 11 a.m.-4 p.m. April 7-8, with a preview night 4-7 p.m. April 6 (for an admission charge). While you are here, don’t forget to check out the delicious baked goods on the library’s main floor; there will be many choices for you to bring home.

All proceeds will benefit the library.

For the book sale, we are accepting book donations. We do not accept VHS tapes, textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest condensed books or any items that have been damaged by smoke or are dirty, ripped or torn.

All donations are tax deductible, and you can sign up to receive a thank-you letter.

You can drop off any donations during the library’s regular hours. For safety concerns, please do not use the book drop for donations.

***

We have started a new paperback book collection for your reading pleasure. We are adding more books every week, so if you don’t see something you want one week, stop by the next week to see the new additions.

***

The library is now a drop-off point for Whitehall-Coplay Hunger Initiative, a group of concerned citizens who have joined together to address hunger needs of our fellow neighbors. We accept food and personal/toiletry items.

If you have any questions about what you can donate, contact the library.

Follow us on WFMZ Storm Center in case of inclement weather. Fines are not charged for any days we are closed for snow. Stay safe!
