Charles M. Hays, 82, of Salisbury Township, died Feb. 13, 2017, surrounded by his family. He and his wife, Kay S. (Gleason), celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary. Born in Lakewood, Ohio, he was the son of the late Harry M. and Ruth E. (Read) Hays.

He was an Army veteran and attended the University of Nebraska.

He was the owner and president of Hays & Associates. Previously, he worked for Winchester Western for 25 years as a sales manager.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Lynne S. and her husband Richard Leibold, Lisa M. Klemka; son, Jonathan M.; grandchildren, Emily and her husband, Ryan, Andrea, Michael, Megan, Tyler, Ella. He was predeceased by a sister, Marilyn J. Dougherty.
