Foster C. “Fuzzy” Renninger, 91, of Wescosville, formerly of Schnecksville, died Feb. 13, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
Born Aug. 7, 1925, in South Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Raymond R. and Mae A. (Adams) Renninger.
Faithfully and honorably serving his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II, he earned the rank of painter second class.
An automotive painter at Supreme Auto Body, South Whitehall Township, and the former Union Chrysler/Plymouth Garage, Allentown, for a combined total of 50 years, he retired in 1990.
He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Allentown.
A Melvin Jones Fellow recipient, he was a member of the Upper Lehigh Lions Club serving as president from 1982-83.
His survivors include companion Vivian L. (Ruddick) Edinger of Wescosville; son Scott R. Renninger and his wife, Melody, of Macungie; sister Doris J. Bower of Allentown; and grandchildren Stephanie and Taylor Renninger.
His funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Feb. 18 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc. 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Joy H. Bagwell officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
Interment with military honors will follow the service at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
