Bernice M. Grim
Bernice M. “Bernie” Grim, 87, of Bethlehem, died peacefully Feb. 8, 2017, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township.
She and her husband Kenneth E. Grim were married 51 years at the time of his death in 2002.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Miriam (Ruch) Daniels Sr.
She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, Allentown.
Co-owner and operator of the former Grim’s Pastry Shoppe, Allentown, for many years, she was fondly known as “Grammy Grim.”
She also was a teacher and manager of Kralik’s Kampus Daycare Center and a sales clerk for Junior Colony and Nan Carlby’s Dress Shop, Allentown.
In her spare time, she would cook and bake for an army and then share those goodies with family, friends and neighbors.
Her survivors include a daughter Robin M. Moyer of Broken Arrow, Okla.; son Scott M. Grim and his wife, Ann (Pfahler), of Allentown; grandchildren Krystal Rogers and husband, Michael, Amanda Pokrandt and husband, Daniel, Jonathon Moyer and his wife, Elizabeth, Justin Grim and his wife, Jenniffer Jones-Grim, Jennifer Grim and Joshua Moyer; great-grandsons Blake, Matthew, Nicholas, Landon, Easton, Parker and Corbin; brother-in-law John Kretzman of Allentown; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was predeceased by son-in-law Gregory M. Moyer in January, great-grandson Kenneth Taylor, brother Raymond E. Daniels Jr, sisters Nancy Kretzman, Joyce Wagner, Doris Daniels and Phyllis Pezoldt and her husband Morris.
